Annual Holiday Concert

Weber State's Symphony Orchestra & Choir

The Annual Holiday Concert features the Weber State Symphony Orchestra and Choirs performing holiday favorites in the beautiful St. Joseph's church in downtown Ogden.



Guitar Ensemble Concert

Browning String Trio

When: Dec. 4 | 7:30 p.m.

The Browning String Trio will be performing the Hiller String Trio and the beloved Schubert "Trout" Piano Quintet and will be joined by special guests pianist Yu-Jane Yang and string bassist Corbin Johnston at the Eccles Community Arts Center.



Percussion Ensemble Annual Carol of the Drums Fest

Directed by Sam Bryson

Join the Weber State University for their Winter Percussion Ensemble Concert: The 1st Annual Carol of the Drums Festival featuring performances by the 国标麻豆视频APP Percussion Orchestra, 国标麻豆视频APP Percussion Chamber Ensembles, 国标麻豆视频APP Steel Pan Ensemble, Pantastica!, as well as performances by percussion ensembles from the Ogden community.

 

Speech Showcase

Directed by Brent Warnock

Every fall and spring semester, the best speaker from each of the 25 or so sections of Principles of Public Speaking (Comm. 1020), a general education class, battles it out on Selection Saturday to become a finalist during the Speech Showcase sponsored by the Department of Communication. Five finalists perform their speeches in front of a crowd of hundreds and receive a small cash prize but big bragging rights.

 

Fall BFA Thesis Exhibition

When: Dec. 8-15 | Opening reception on Dec. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Location: 国标麻豆视频APP Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery, Kimball Art Center
Price: Free

Join us for a showcase of capstone work by our graduating art and design students. The exhibition runs from Dec. 8-15, 2023. Opening reception is Dec. 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Shaw Gallery.



A Holiday Joyride!
